Design HTC EVO 3D in photoshop.

In this Gadget Design tutorial, we are going to design HTC EVO 3D(sprint) in Adobe photoshop.

Before we start, First take a look at our final Design:)

Let’s start

Open Adobe photoshop,

STEP1:-

create a new document of size 700px by 1000px. Then select Rounded Rectangle Tool and draw a shape  of size 321px by 622px with 40px radius with color = #5D6364.

and this is the Base  of phone.

Now select the Base layer and go to blending options and apply these settings( see below image).

STEP2:-

Now, we have to add some lights in corner of the Base. first make the selection of base Layer, then create a new layer and

just follow the instruction written in image below:

Repet above step and apply lights to every corner of the Base Layer.( Always take a new layer for each corners.)

After that our base layer should look like this :-

Keep the selection active of  base layer and do as instructed in below image :-

STEP3:-

Now, create a new shape with the help of rounded rectangle tool.

keep the size of shape  width=309px  Height= 611px with 40px radius with color- #5D6364 and place this shape above all layers as shown in image below:

STEP4:-

Copy the shape we have created in last step (ctrl +j). Fill Background with Black color, now we have to lower the hight of copied layer. (see below image).

Once done with above steps, Now add lights in the corner of black layer(see below image).

STEP5:-

After applying the lights to both corner of the black shape, Now with the active selection of black layer go to Select then modify then contract the selection with 1 px.

create a new layer and fill the selection with color- #0e1919.

Now your design should look like below image:-

STEP6:-

In this step we are going to use eraser tool to erase bottom part of the shape we created in the last step, just follow below image:-

STEP7:-

Simply follow the below image:-

STEP8:-

Now we are going to create Speaker of the phone.

with rounded rectangle tool create a new shape of size 169px by 14px with 30px radius.Then add gradient overlay to the shape.(see below image for gradient setting).

Follow image below carefully

We have to make 3 shapes in which the no. 1 shape has been created in the last step

now, just simply draw 2 more shapes(2 and 3) as shown in below image. After that arrange these first 3 shapes as directed in image.

STEP9:-

Now, we have to create a pattern to fill the black layer of speaker.

STEP10:-

Now select the black layer of the speaker then go to blending options and apply the pattern we have just created

After applying, place the speaker as shown in below image

STEP11:-

In this step we will be creating Front camera of the phone. (just follow below image).

STEP12:-

Now with rectangle tool draw the screen of the phone width=271px   Height=479px then arrange the screen as shown in below image

STEP13:-

We are almost done! For buttons  just create a round shape of size 29px by 29px with ellipse Tool keep the color black, then go to blending option add 1px white color stroke and keep the position center. copy this shape for 4 times and draw the icons of buttons as shown in below image.

 

Download HTC and sprint logo from google images and arrange them at appropriate place

And Finally, this is our HTC EVO 3D (sprint).
